Fitness & bodybuilding: Ever wonder what happens when an ecto doesn't follow his diet?

You lose seven f-cking pounds in a week! But hey, I guess it's normal to have a bad week every once in a while. But not that bad.

I was seriously over worked from my job, so workouts were lagging pretty bad. I decided to take a week off and rest up, but I think I rested a bit too much. If I wasn't at work, I was sleeping. and I only ate 2 meals while i was at work...and they weren't even that great. Then I got a tooth infection halfway through and only ate maybe one larger meal a day for four days.

So now the sweling is down in my tooth, work is back to normal, and I'm back at the gym. Today was by far the worst chest workout ever. I only did 10 sets before I felt burned out. Other regulars at the gym even commented on my weak lifts .

Oh and just to make is worse, the hot chick who works at the counter quit and they replaced her with a not so hot chick.

Now I'm pissed off and force-feeding myself

Don't worry, I bet ATLEAST 4 pounds of that is muscle glycogen. You'll get it back quick

Your not gonna get nowhere if u let this stuff hold u back. Everyday is like this, there's always gonna be things getting in ur way of getting what u want. Don't be some guy that doesn't fight through the odds. Man every one has had their fair share of bad times and the worst thing u can do is worry about it, just tell urself what u need to do and do it. Work can be stressful but if ur not eating enough u have to do something about it at the time not a week later. Yea a tooth infection would make it hard to eat but u gotto ask urself how bad do u wanna obtain ur goals and just do it. And that work out u had just set urself an example of what not to do, next time u can go to the gym u can think of ur last time and use that as motivation.

That, and I won't be able to beat up wiggers

Plenty of motivation right there...

Could be worse bro.

I'm an endo.

When I don't follow my diet, I gain 2 pounds of fat per week.

rurkster | Sun, 16 Mar 2008 15:31:00 GMT |

For a span of about 5- 6 days I had a terribel diet due to job training and couldn't get on track at the gym for a week.. Missed meals, exhaustion, etc.

First week back at gym was depressing.
I dunno about my weight but my bench strength went down about 30 pounds for working sets. from 225 for 4 sets of 6 to 195 for 6-8. .and it's my second week tryign to get back on track..

NEVER AGAIN.

I used to think the same way as u, I'd see these guys that don't even work out that are bigger than me. I then realized that u can't really do anything about it but work harder cause if u work hard than u'll eventually be bigger than them. And I hope ur not calling me a wigger cause I'm the farthest thing from one.

bad2buff | Sun, 16 Mar 2008 15:33:00 GMT |

Could be worse.

I'm an endo/ecto. When I don't follow my diet I lose 1 lb. of muscle for every 1 lb. of fat gained.

Never said you were. Afterall, you're in here...not chasing 14yr old booty.

So, you =/= wigger.

LOL You respond quick. It must suck to be one of those fat skinny dudes though huh? Hope you get that shit worked out bro, good luck with it.

I never really lose muscle when I don't follow my diet. As a matter of fact, I always follow my diet.

At least my legs aren't missing a cut. That's the good that comes from this. It just sucks having titties and no abs along with no arm definition (although my triceps and delts are coming along nicely).

Thanks, I'll do my best to get cut quick. Right now I'm fat and in no way skinny, though. If you saw me right off the bat you would assume endo. With the exception of the small bones.

rodity | Sun, 16 Mar 2008 15:42:00 GMT |

I wouldn't have even replied to that imature/juvenile comment.

No one in bodybuilding ever stays lean all year round. You must sacrifice to gain.

What comment are you talking about?

Oh, and Lee Priest is a wonderful example of your last two sentences.

rodity | Sun, 16 Mar 2008 15:44:00 GMT |

Shawn Ray Stays lean all year round. I think things can be adjusted rodity. Eating food around the right gi rating. I mean rodity, I eat burgers when I bulk up. Its abosolutely imperative to even think about staying cut all year round. Not even while on steroids.

debulkred | Sun, 16 Mar 2008 15:45:00 GMT |

i have no idea what i am, i think im between meso and endo
coz besides my pathetic biceps i am muscular but i also have a pot but its not too big, if i lose 3 kilos then i should be all good for the beach...too bad its winter here GRRRRRRRR!!!

In your last post you said that "No one in bodybuilding stays lean all year round."

rodity | Sun, 16 Mar 2008 15:47:00 GMT |

Except shawn ray, he's always lean all year round. That is about one of the few pro bodybuilders that I see lean most of th year. Those who want to gain muscle need to pig out or they won't gain.

I agree with you completely.

How fat have you gotten if I may ask?

I'm with you on that one. I'd rather mess my diet up and lose mass than mess it up and gain fat. Both are going backwards but it seems much more negative when you gain fat lol.
